Fort Lauderdale here I come..
So in less 2 weeks I will be by this nice warm beach...Getting the DS2019 today which means that I can go to the consulate/embassy now! I will probarbly go to Stockholm on Monday and P and I have our appointments on Tuesday. Hopefully we'll get our passports back(with visa stamp)before Easter so we can book our flight to Fort Lauderdale.We're supposed to start our training on the 12th and if we get our passports in time we'll be able to leave on the 10 or 11th of April...
So it will be 2 busy weeks, visiting Stockholm, Easter-celebrating at home and a nice fondue dinner with my friends I hope! Well, time to start cleaning so I can go outside and chill in the sun...

Finally...Fort Lauderdale in about 2 weeks...
Got my final startingdate today...so the hotel is opening May 1st and they want us to come 12th of April. So if I've got my visa by then I will hopefully leave 10 or 11th of April, after easter.
Such a nice feeling..can't wait to go to the sun and to new adventures! In the meantime I just have to enjoy the nice weather in Sweden (13 degrees and sunny) and try to get some colour so I don't burn too badly in Florida:)
Time to go to bed, really tired after the nice massage today..

Skåne and Copenhagen...
Since J was visiting last week I had to show him around a bit...I just wish it was summer so I could lay on the beach here and just relax. But the weather wasn't too good on the day the picture was taken.
Drove to Malmö/Helsingborg/Hyllinge so I could show J where I grew up! Last Friday we went to Copenhagen to meet Charlotte and Fair (who was visiting Copenhagen in business). There were some people I thought I would never see again after graduation as we are so spread out over the world, but if you want to see people you make it happend. And most importingly more than half on the school is in the US now anyway so it's a bit easier meeting up. Walked down to Nyhavn and later met up with Charlotte after she finished work and since the weather was nice(Scandinavian terms-15 degrees and sunny) for most of the day we had to drink our Carlsbergs outside...
Still waiting for my trainingplan so I can proceed with the VISA-application so still don't know when I'll be able to leave! Hope to be able to give a more positive update on that soon! Time to go to town to walk around a bit and then go to the movies to see "the Perfume"..

Wellwell..had a nice weekend, I'm a bit slow today though after the party yesterday but it was a lot of fun! Unfortunatelly the weather is not as nice as yesterday so no sitting on the terass today. But looks like next week will be nice and sunny so trying to figure out things we can do when J is visiting...

Fab5 and crazy Thursdays..
Sometimes I miss Brig, or more the ppl I met in Brig. Last night I started thinking of all the crazy thursday nights we had when we just went out for one glass wine but ended up with all those nice mojitos, bailyes on ice and lets not forget the shots... And all the parties we organized, got all sentimental when Lovisa and I looked at old pictures.
This was a fab5 celebration, there is always a reason to celebrate!
Well, going to be a calm weekend, my mum turned 50 so celebrating her with a big party otherwise just the traditional swedish Melodifestivalen...
Finally some news about the hotel by the way, looks like we will start around 10th of April and I finally got CSN approved. Babysteps..but in the right direction!

Dreamgirls..and an amazing massage...
Went to the movies this Sunday and watched Dreamgirls, a really good movie actually! Had a nice day today, got a massage and then I went shopping with my mum, Ikea and for her birthdayparty...Always nice with a massage...
One week left now til Johann comes to Sweden to visit, good that I will have to get out of the house a bit and do stuff instead of learning the TV-guide by heart!

Saturday..but feels like Sunday
Some Saturdays are just meant for relaxing...after trying desperately to get in a better mood, the italian ice-cream and cappucino at the Italian café helped a bit, I now give up and it's time just to chill in the sofa...
Time to watch Love actually and eat cheese-doodles and hope that that will help my stomach-ache..Since I'm really depressing and boring today I will stay at home to watch the Swedish part of the eurovision song contest tonight and eat some italian anti-pasti!
Not much fun to tell otherwise, called the hotell yesterday and they hope that they can give us an update early next week..Maybe the sun could help my bad mood??

Bored out of my mind
I really suck at updating my blog but the whole point of it was to show what is going on in my life, which by the way is not much right now when I'm at home in Sweden.
